On the way to Roma-Palestrina!

Enroute to Roma on Oct. 15, 2013  to pick up Don and Jen (and a BIG surprise, our grandson Mason!), we took a road less traveled and came upon the beautiful  treasure of the town of Palestrina  (an Etruscan settlement) and its National Archeological Museum built on top of the 2nd century B.C. Hellenistic Fortuna Primigenia. Palestrina is fascinating with a mix of myth (Ulysses) and legend, art and architecture, pristine landscapes and historic Greco and Roman roots.
